Scholarship Information
The Birmingham Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has a commitment to supporting education and academic excellence. The Scholarship Committee is responsible for administering the chapter’s scholarship program by awarding deserving high seniors and collegiate students scholarships who desire to excel academically. High school seniors residing in Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Jefferson, Shelby, St Clair or Walker counties are encouraged to apply each year beginning in early February. Collegiate Students attending Miles College and Nursing Students attending Lawson State are also encouraged to apply. Scholarship recipients are recognized each year in early May during the Chapter’s annual May Week Program.
